Why I am running
Protect People from Displacement
Protect long-term renters from being displaced by strengthening enforcement of tenant relocation and compensation requirements.
Expand the right to return so tenants can move back into redeveloped buildings at affordable rents whenever possible.
Ensure every tenant knows their rights by improving access to clear, information about evictions, compensation, and relocation.Road Safety for Everyone
Every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and respected. City Hall needs to lead with compassion, integrity, and the courage to do what's right.
Ken Sim and ABC are failing our city, and especially the most vulnerable in our people. Spending millions on fireworks, but failing to fund libraries, or build more affordable housing.
Families and especially seniors, are struggling with affordability. Small businesses are disappearing. Artists are being pushed out of Vancouver. Public spaces don't always feel welcoming or safe.
I KNOW we can do better.
I'm running to bring common sense, accountability, and an independent voice to City Hall.
I have fought injustice, I have won, and I am going to bring that fight to city hall.
I am not your average candidate, because I’m not a politician, but I have the fight in me to fight for you.
My Values
Keeping People Housed, in Safe and Affordable Spaces
A city shouldn't measure progress by how many people it moves, it should measure progress by how many people it helps stay connected to the communities they call home.
Safer Streets For Everyone
For more than two decades, I have been one of Vancouver's most recognizable advocates for safer streets. Whether on roller skates, or on foot, I have championed a city where everyone can travel safely and confidently. My advocacy is grounded in a simple belief: our streets should protect people first.
Respect and Independent Leadership
I'll make decisions based on what's best for Vancouver, my neighbours and not political agendas.
Support Local
I know our small businesses, artists, and neighbourhoods are what make Vancouver special, I will fight to protect them.
Safe Communities and Kindness
Everyone deserves to feel safe while respecting the rights and dignity of every person, regardless of where you live, weather that’s the downtown East side or Kitsilano, you deserve the same level of respect, and feeling of safety.
Protect Civil Liberties
Government works when it listens, respects people's rights, and remains accountable.
I have spent my life ensuring that Human Rights are respected. Its core to who I am
My Top Priorities
Keeping People Housed
No one should lose their home simply because they are older, living with a disability, raising a family, or unable to navigate a complex legal process.
I will champion stronger tenant protections, better enforcement of existing laws, and practical support for residents facing displacement. Growth is important but it should never come at the cost of pushing our neighbours out of the communities they've helped build. Ken Sim and the ABC majority on council has gutted renter protection in Vancouver I will fight to restore these protections and work to get the RTB working for YOU to better support tenants.
I will work for YOU to:
Make City Hall more accountable
Support neighbourhood businesses
Improve public safety, for everyone
Champion arts, culture, and local events
Respect individual freedoms
Get more affordable housing built
Protect seniors and the most vulnerable in our city
